![]() Hydro application with two hydro units isn’t going to be a problem, so his faster hydro at C6 becomes less useful. My push back would be Yelan does more damage than XQ, so if Furina can pick up his defensive slack and do more damage, he’s out. I take your point Alkez - I suppose it’s going to come down to how well Furina can sustain. And she’s an archon, so she won’t be weak - being hydro never hurts either.īut I do think people need scale their expectations down a little bit. I’m feeling good about her kit - it’s interesting. ![]() I personally think you could end up seeing her in ’damage mode’ all the time, with a healer like Jean topping everyone up and shredding resistances. HP drain and having healing tied to an off-field character who needs to charge attack, might be a tricky combo to manage in the toughest content.Īnd as you say, the behaviour of her summons will play a big role in how good she is. And I think there’s an inclination to look at her kit and think yeah, she can do a bit of everything.īut as you quite rightly say, not at the same time and it’s going to be about how it all fits together. Still, it is great to see a character who’s just going to be unapologetically great.Ĭlick to shrink. ![]() I actually think Jean is going to be an amazing, relatively accessible, partner with her. You can already get one-shotted and that’s without everyone being at half health. Yeah, no hydro application, but no messing around with skill changes and no health drain.ĭoes anyone want to mess around with skill switching while they’re getting pushed around and one-shotted by the beats in floor 12. A character who can give you a humongous buff and heal you constantly. But that ignores how C6 isn’t that much of a damage increase for Yelan - it’s how that C6 brings all those cons together and allows you to front load everything into a few seconds.Īnd also - Bennett exists. I‘ve seen people say her C2 is Yelan’s C6 - she’s broken. I think we need to see her in action first. I’m seeing stuff like she powercreeps all other hydro characters, or she makes Kokomi obsolete. She obviously going to be very good but I think people are getting a little carried away. Or if you’re one of the few people to have a C6 Yelan or if you use her on-field, it’s another damage buff she can access - which is good as she has less ways to amp up her damage than attack scaling characters. Both will benefit from hydro resonance and both have a big damage buff that a carry is sure to enjoy. My guess is, as a HP scaling character, who wants health rich teammates, she’s probably going to synergise well with Yelan. But he offers some form of interruption resistance, so might be more comfortable to play. ![]() I think she’s been made with XQ in mind - in that she directly competes with him. And given the health drain in her kit, she’s going to want tanky teammates too. Some teams are going to need a healer with her and some teams aren’t going to want to switch back to her. How she fits into existing teams is all going to depend on her application, how easy it is to weave her charge attacks into some existing rotations (if people bother), which teams can accommodate the health loss, etc.
